G-d continues to bless our lives.I will know more after the Dr's make the rounds this morning. Thank you so much for your prayers and concern. I will do an update as soon as I talk to the Dr's.
I feel encouraged as yesterday during some of the tests Mike became agitated and that is the first sign he has given that he might be feeling or aware of what is going on around him.
I put my faith and trust in G-d...

Update On Mike # 2
want to thank each of you for your prayers,and for being here for me,

Mike continues to hold his own. He is breathing on his own, vital signs good, no swelling in the brain , but he is still in critical condition. The Dr's still say 30% but I put my trust in God and will accept his answer for my son.

Thanks to each of you for your prayers and support. Christy, Mike's wife sends her thanks to each of you too.

I would like to tell you about my Mikey...........As you can see from the photo of him, he is a dare devil for sure. Aways keeping me on the edge of my seat.He was the little boy with freckles, who had a smile that would melt steel in a minute. He had that puppy dog look that he used to try and get his way, ( it usually did not work but he gave it a 100% try)He was the child that hated school. He would take his clothes off and hide from me. When I finally found him and got him in the car, I felt like I had fought the war single handed. I prayed all the way to school that he would put his clothes on, as I told him, it is your choice how your friends see you, because I am taking you in clothes on or off. He was the kid that took the remote control fart machine to school and put it under his teachers chairs and would have them scratching their heads wondering what was going on...the entire class would be in stitches.On Mondays I baked cookies, and he was the kid that would invite his entire class over and anyone else he saw walking home from school, come on over , llots of cookies and we are playing touch football. You would be surprised at how many children who ended up in my back yard. I learned to bake 24 dozen cookies on Mondays and rare was there any left. He was the kid who got me invited to an audience with the principal of the school on so many days because of his pranks......as in the remote control fart machine........and putting poppers under the toliet seats in the girls rest room and when they sat down it was like the 4th of July finale all over again, you could hear them screaming five miles away.......He was the kid that pulled his pants down and mooned two old ladies in a car behind the bus......never at a loss of what to do. ( I learned to keep him real busy ) He was also the little boy who would give you the shirt off his back, his last dime, and I will never forget the day he came in with that look on his face and he said to me, Mom, there was this kid giving away kittens and he said if he did not find a home for them his dad was going to drown them, yep that is what the boy told Mike. He said you would not be mad if I helped him out would you, everyone needs a cat, right mom. I said okay even though I was not to keen on it, and I said AND YOU WILL CARE FOR THE KITTEN, YOU UNDERSTAND ME...MIKE............Mike said I will care for THEM.......I said them and that is when I saw 8 kittens in the box.....so tiny.....and not even properly weened. Well when I started to object, here is this little boy, Kitten in hand , rubbing his back, saying, it is okay, we love you and will take care of you...so off to the vet we went..and $275.00 later, bottles and milk for the kittens........we started to care for them....feeding them every three to four hours with bottle......and Mike never complained once about helping feed them, and those kittens followed him around like he was their mother.
He was also the little boy who would invite all his class over for hot cookies on Monday after school, and trust me many came.He is also the little boy when seeing his mom cry, would come up to me, put his arm around me and say, it is gonna be okay Mom, I love you. Mikey always had a hug for everyone. So loving and kind.I could say lots more.......and as time goes on I will share more about the Mikey I love so very much.He is also the little boy who grew up to be a man, and graduated Suma Cum Laude from College. I knew he could do it...........God was I proud of him. Even if he had personally put every gray hair I call blond in my head.Can anyone tell me how to say goodbye.......he is such a part of my life and important part.......I do not want to lose him. I love him so very much.
